Gravenstein Apple
The Gravenstein apple is an incredibly hard to find varietal due to the difficulty farmers have cultivating it. It’s beautiful flavor and rarity makes this white balsamic vinegar a real treat. It is grown in pockets up the coast of Northern California. It is prized for its amazing perfume and crispy sweet-tart flavor.
Try with: This sweet concoction is excellent in cabbage slaws, summery cocktails, and autumnal salads. Bake into apple crisp, swirl into cinnamon streusel, and sprinkle into summery fruit pies for a sinfully fresh taste.
Pairs well with: Toasted Walnut Oil, Sesame Oil, Butter Olive Oil, and Basil Olive Oil.
